Why we built this
Renewal rules change by profession and by state, and the official information is scattered across hundreds of separate board websites, PDFs, and statutes. Missing a deadline can mean you legally can't practice. We pull the key facts into one consistent, plain-language place — and always link back to the official source so you can verify and file.
How we source our data
Every record is researched from the profession's official state licensing board or registry. We store facts — renewal cycles, fee figures, CE requirements, deadlines — in our own words, never copied board prose, and we record the exact source page and the date we last verified it. Where a board doesn't publish a single fixed figure (for example, a flat renewal fee), we say so rather than guess. Read more in our editorial & data policy.
