The 15 hours must include at least 1 hour of insurance law, at least 1 hour of ethics and professionalism, and at least 1 hour of diversity, inclusion and elimination of bias. Property/casualty licensees must also complete at least 1 hour of flood insurance instruction, and at least 3 hours of enhanced flood instruction if they sell NFIP flood coverage. CE must be completed before submitting the renewal application; excess credits do not carry over and a completed course cannot be repeated. (Requirements effective for licenses renewing on or after April 1, 2022.)
